Wow - I have just fallen in love with chocolate brown and blue this year. There is something about those two colors together. So I think that Camden print is just gorgeous! Check out ModMum's site (www.modmum.com)for all their beautiful fabrics. Viv is beautiful in its simplicity too... it would be hard to choose! But I sure do need a sling - I love my wrap but need something more "poppable" for everyday. Thanks Momviews.net and ModMum for the opportunity!

huh - well they weren't too far off

As being the only female in my large department of males, I tend to get teased a lot. One day I was commenting on how I hate to talk on the phone. I think one of my co-workers was trying to compliment me by saying "ahh, your half dude anyways". While that didn't bring up any pleasant images to mind - I appreciated that he felt that I was "just one of the guys". Well according to this quiz, he wasn't too far off. 60% chick, 40% dude

Mad for Bamboo

We have a tiny (and I do mean TINY) half bathroom on our main floor. Well it has gone completely ignored since we have moved in. I finally have decided that it is going to be the repository for all of my souveniers from China (some silk embroidery pictures, some wood figurines, etc). Now I just have to pull it all together. I think I am going to get some of the new bamboo towels at where else... you guessed it - Target! Now if I can just convince myself to buy them now rather than wait till they are clearanced.

Okay - is it sad that one of the happiest days in my life was when they said they were building a Target 2 miles from my home? I love that place and am especially lured by those little red clearance tags. So, one of my new found websites that I visit nearly daily to find out what the latest deals are is:

Then I just look at the Target forum. People post the great deals they find (sometimes unmarked) and the next time I am at my local Target (okay, I admit - I am there pretty 3 times a week!) I check them out. Yea, it takes away a bit of the thrill of the hunt, but the joy of finding things for 75% off makes up for it.

Okay - I am finally inspired to really start to pull this blog together. Want to know what the inspiration was?? Go to mommyknows.com and you will see! First of all she has a great blog with terrific and hilarious pics of her kids. Secondly she reviews great kids products and often gives them away too! I think I am going to have to order the "sleep huggers" she had in a previous post - I never knew they made sleep sacks for older kids.

But the final inspiration to get this blog going was the fact that she is giving away a Peanut Shell sling! Check her site out - I know I GOTTA' have one of those!!
